To establish an ICAM system it is absolutely necessary to monitor correctly the environmental variables involved. To do this, IMEDEA has created a mechanical workshop to make instrumentation capable of monitoring these variables. The workshop is located in a modular construction and has all of the machinery necessary to make the instrumentation needed for projects. Amongst other machinery, the workshop has a four-axis machining centre with numerical control, handheld lathes, a milling machine, a MIG welder, a bandsaw, a hyperbaric pressure chamber to test instrument quality, etc.
