Oceanographic-meteorological buoy in the bay of Palma

Oceanic predictive models need an input of reliable data for their responses to be as close as possible to the reality of what takes place in the environment. To this end, within the framework of this project there will be an oceanographic-meteorological buoy in the Bay of Palma, to provide information about both meteorological parameters and the various hydrographical and biogeochemical variables of a water column. This will be the first high-tech buoy installed in the Balearic Islands, and constitutes the first step in the construction of an overall sampling system for the Balearic coast
